    Justine, these are great questions. Children are sponges when information is given to them. Children also respond well to storybooks, videos, music, games, storybook-apps. A kid, in my mind, is between the ages of 0-11.
    There was a marketing experiment in The States trying to make baby carrots cool for youth. You may find this story relevant. Have a listen. It’s a 4 minute segment. In a culture so steeped in sugar addiction and 50,000 different types of potato chips, healthy produce is a hard sell. Still, in certain regions, ironically matched with increased socio-economic factors in the US, for example, you’ll find greater awareness across the board with healthy food/produce. Were you raised with the awareness of the benefits of fresh food? I myself wasn’t allowed to eat many sugary things. Making the production, cultivation and generation of fresh produce could also have a monumental effect on a child’s psyche and processing of where good food comes from and where it should go (in your tummy).
